In the darkest moments, Christ, You met me there. Confusion filled the silence; You answered it with care. When every thought divided, when every line went blurred, You held my focus steady on the kindness of Your word. I had no clean conclusion, no sentence tied and true, But mercy gave me something: it turned my heart to You. No distance in Your kindness. No shadow in Your grace. The darkest moment could not hide the mercy in Your face. What You did for me Was meet me in the dark. You did not hand me answers. You gave me who You are. Your love was never theory, a phrase I learned to say. Your love became the reason I could focus through the haze. Your kindness was not fragile. Your mercy did not leave. You stayed when things were tangled and gave my heart relief. I could not see the pattern. You never lost the thread. You kept my mind from drowning in the questions in my head. And every time confusion tried to tell me what was true, Your steady love kept turning my attention back to You. I do not thank You Because every question found its end. I thank You because, inside the questions, You were present. I do not praise You Because the darkness turned to day. I praise You because, in the darkness, You remained.
